The Motherboard with BQ35LORA900V1M RF Daughterboard for Station G3 consists of only the Motherboard and RF daughterboard (BQ35LORA900V1M). It does not include an MCU daughterboard. To form a complete Mesh node, you must provide your own compatible MCU daughterboard. This module is intended for experienced developers who wish to build custom Linux-based Mesh nodes or integrate the RF subsystem into their own designs.

We strongly advise users to carefully consider this kit before purchasing. We recommend that only users with prior experience using the turnkey solution Station G3-ESP32S3-BQ35LORA900V1M and deploying Linux-based Mesh nodes choose this kit. Without the official MCU daughterboard (BQESP32V1M), we are virtually unable to provide any hardware-related technical support, because the official MCU daughterboard (BQESP32V1M) is required to perform hardware troubleshooting.

The BQ Station G3 RF Module provides a high-performance, modular LoRa radio platform that separates the RF front-end from the MCU layer. By offering only the Motherboard and RF daughterboard as an independent product, we enable developers to choose their own processing unit—whether it’s our official MCU daughterboard or a third-party Linux-capable board such as the Raspberry Pi Zero 2W.

This modular approach extends the lifecycle of RF designs and makes it easier for experienced engineers to integrate Station G3 into custom Mesh node architectures.

  • Peak Power Output: Reaches up to 36.8 dBm ±2 dBm (~4.7 W) for US915 and 37 dBm ±2 dBm (~5 W) for EU868 bands. (Some firmware may limit the Peak Power Output; see LoRa Power Amplifier Conduction Test for more info.)

This device operates in the 33 cm amateur band (US915 MHz) and can transmit above 1 W.
